In Chiang Mai I ran across a Mom and Pop restaurant where the chef tops her noodle dishes with a special chicken stewed in fish sauce and Coca-Cola. The sweet and salty taste reminded me of Southern BBQ made with Coke - perfect counterpoint for the chicken broth and wide rice noodles.
